Description

  • Own event operations and program management from planning through post-event reporting for WebexOne.
  • Lead workstreams covering logistics, staffing, security, vendor management, space planning, and décor.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables for event execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across marketing, product, sales, executive communications, technical teams, agencies, and vendors.
  • Facilitate weekly planning meetings and status updates with stakeholders and vendor partners.
  • Oversee venue operations, housing support, staffing, and attendee experience initiatives.
  • Plan and execute ancillary events, executive meetings, receptions, and customer engagement opportunities.
  • Manage event staff, including brand ambassadors and on-site support personnel.
  • Lead security planning and coordination for large-scale, multi-day events.
  • Prepare executive presentations, post-event reports, and recommendations for improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Event Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in event management, operations, or project management supporting large-scale, in-person and hybrid first-party events.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional event programs with multiple internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Experience planning and executing conferences, tradeshows, and customer engagement events.
  • Proven ability to manage event staff supporting large-scale, multi-day events.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills (preferred).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented mindset (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and project management platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Willingness to travel to support on-site event execution.
