Description

  • Deliver individualized virtual counseling and support aligned to each student’s mental health goals and social-emotional objectives.
  • Create intervention strategies and wellness plans for anxiety, executive dysfunction, depression, behavioral challenges, and SEL milestones.
  • Adjust support in real time based on student crisis levels, engagement, and emotional regulation.
  • Maintain a safe, empathetic, and confidential virtual counseling environment.
  • Track student progress and document outcomes over time.
  • Communicate with families, school psychologists, and school district partners to support coordinated care and compliance.

Requirements

  • Valid state licensure or certification such as LMHC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or School Counselor.
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults in a school, clinical, or tele-health setting.
  • Understanding of IEPs, 504 plans, and the impact of mental health on academic performance.
  • Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations.
  • Strong virtual instruction skills, including comfort with video conferencing and digital whiteboards.
  • Ability to keep students engaged in an online setting.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Reliable computer, internet connection, webcam, and quiet workspace.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is preferred.
