Description

  • Guide BS/MD and direct medical applicants on school selection, application strategy, essays, resumes, recommendations, timelines, and interviews.
  • Help students strengthen their academic and extracurricular profiles and application materials.
  • Research and evaluate BS/MD, pre-med, and undergraduate programs aligned with students’ goals.
  • Provide feedback on personal statements, supplemental essays, and interview preparation while preserving students’ authentic voices.
  • Manage project plans, application timelines, and student progress using internal organizational tools.
  • Stay current on BS/MD, direct medical, pre-med, and undergraduate admissions trends.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree required.
  • Prior admissions committee experience at the undergraduate or medical school level.
  • Experience mentoring high school students in academic advising or college application support.
  • Familiarity with BS/MD, direct medical, and pre-med admissions processes.
  • Demonstrated success guiding students through competitive undergraduate admissions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including managing multiple students and timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits

  • Part-time, remote 1099 contract role.
