Description

  • Standardize, audit, and maintain interconnected Google Sheets models without disrupting established forecasting logic.
  • Reverse-engineer undocumented models and document data sources, dependencies, assumptions, calculations, outputs, and limitations.
  • Organize model inventories and Google Drive folders, including archiving stale versions while preserving historical sources of truth.
  • Support the monthly workforce planning and forecasting cycle through ingestion, reconciliation, formatting, and quality checks.
  • Create runbooks, checklists, handoff materials, and repeatable procedures for recurring workflows.
  • Develop standardized FP&A and Operations pre-read templates and improve traceability from source data to reporting.
  • Apply model governance practices including versioning, peer review, quality controls, and documentation standards.
  • Use SQL or equivalent tools to pull and validate source data, and apply lightweight automation when appropriate.
  • Protect workforce-data privacy and escalate production risks before they affect deadlines.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in analytics, workforce planning, FP&A analytics, operations analytics, or a related field, with end-to-end project ownership.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining spreadsheet tools used by other teams through live operating cycles.
  • Advanced Google Sheets proficiency, including complex formulas, interconnected files, validation, error handling, performance considerations, and cross-file references.
  • Experience reverse-engineering undocumented or poorly documented spreadsheet models.
  • Experience supporting FP&A, workforce planning, demand forecasting, capacity planning, or similar recurring planning processes.
  • Ability to independently pull, inspect, and validate data using SQL or an equivalent tool.
  • Strong stakeholder-discovery, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience documenting and handing off tools so teams can continue operating them independently.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and escalate risks within live production cycles.
  • Willingness to perform detailed operational work such as file organization, archiving, reconciliation, and formatting.
  • Preferred: experience with Apps Script, Python, model governance, regulated environments, Jira workflow design, recurring pre-reads, or workforce and care operations.

Benefits

  • Approximately four-month contract opportunity with a defined scope and hard end date.
  • Full-time contract compensation of $85–$100 per hour in the United States.
  • Compensation is adjusted by geographic zone and considers experience, education, skills, certifications, market data, and internal equity.
