Description

Guide client projects through the full lifecycle from requirements gathering to solution design, development, testing, and deployment.
Lead client-facing discovery sessions and translate client needs into technical requirements.
Manage project resources, schedules, deliverables, milestones, scope, and risk across multiple concurrent projects.
Maintain Story Navigator as the central repository for project configuration, design, documentation, and user feedback.
Coordinate meetings and communications between the client and Idealist Consulting using project management tools and platforms.
Produce project deliverables including kickoff presentations, project plans, status reports, budget burn reports, requirements documents, design documentation, and deployment plans.
Support quality testing before user testing and help ensure smooth project delivery.
Work with the client project team to identify, nurture, and guide team progress.
Collaborate with Client Success and Service Delivery leadership to resolve project or communication roadblocks.

Requirements

3-7 years of experience in a similar project management role.
Salesforce Admin Certification is required.
Understanding of Nonprofit Cloud (NPC); certification is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
Project management experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with PROSCI and ADKAR change management frameworks.
Understanding of nonprofit technology projects and enterprise-level implementations.
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
Creative and analytical thinking with a passion for solving customer problems with software solutions.
2+ years of Salesforce administration experience with strong declarative design skills is preferred.
Experience with NPSP and NPC is a plus.
PMP or other related certification is a strong plus.
Experience with technical, cross-functional, nonprofit, fundraising, or program management projects is a plus.
Team leadership experience is preferred.
Contractors must define their own availability and capacity and carry their own professional liability insurance policy.
