Description

Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and workstreams aligned with NY-VISTA objectives.
Coordinate strategic initiatives and transformation activities across participating organizations and rural communities.
Monitor progress, risks, barriers, budgets, and performance metrics, and ensure timely completion of grant deliverables.
Facilitate project meetings, workgroups, and steering committee sessions.
Serve as liaison among healthcare providers, community organizations, government agencies, funders, and other external partners.
Maintain grant compliance and prepare required reports, presentations, progress updates, and audit documentation.
Collect and analyze project data, develop performance dashboards, and recommend process improvements.
Coordinate resource allocation, budget forecasting, financial reporting, and fiscal accountability with finance and operations teams.
Lead sustainability planning, including long-term strategy, funding diversification, grant development, and proposal support.
Develop stakeholder engagement, outreach, and educational communications to increase program participation and adoption.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, or a related field.
At least 3 years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare, public health, rural health, community development, or grant-funded programs.
Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
Experience facilitating cross-functional teams and stakeholder collaborations.
Experience with performance improvement and quality management methodologies.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, grant administration, and reporting requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data reporting tools.
Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to independently prioritize work, meet deadlines, and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
PMP certification or equivalent, experience with federal or state grants, and knowledge of rural healthcare systems, population health, and healthcare transformation initiatives are preferred.
