Description

  • Coordinate SRE, engineering, and production teams during live outages and degraded service events, including running post-mortems and driving corrective improvements.
  • Plan, coordinate, and launch in-game events end to end, owning readiness across content, infrastructure scaling, QA sign-off, and communications.
  • Manage the curation, scheduling, and rollout of live in-game content such as item shops, seasonal offers, and rotating content.
  • Own the live content calendar and coordinate execution across product, design, and monetisation teams.
  • Analyze live telemetry to assess player behavior, retention, economy health, and event performance, and translate findings into operational decisions.
  • Serve as the operational link between SRE, QA, community management, and product to ensure features integrate smoothly into the live environment.
  • Run the operational readiness gate before major launches and ensure new features are prepared for live deployment.
  • Maintain runbooks, incident playbooks, rollout SOPs, and post-mortem documentation to keep live operations process-driven.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in live operations, site reliability, or technical game production, including at least 2 years owning live service uptime for a multiplayer title.
  • Proven incident command experience, including running a live incident bridge and writing and acting on post-mortems.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across SRE/engineering, QA, community, and product in an operational setting.
  • Hands-on experience with live monitoring tools such as Datadog, PagerDuty, Grafana, Splunk, or equivalent.
  • Experience owning or co-owning a content calendar, item shop curation, or in-game event rollout for a major multiplayer title.
  • Comfort reading player telemetry, retention metrics, and economy KPIs and using them to guide operational decisions.
  • Strong asynchronous communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience leading live operations in a distributed, remote-first environment across time zones.
  • Preferred: experience on a major F2P or live-service title with 1M+ concurrent players during a major event.
  • Preferred: familiarity with Unreal Engine infrastructure and game build pipelines.
  • Preferred: knowledge of in-game economy health indicators such as currency inflation, sink/source imbalance, and retention drop patterns.
  • Preferred: previous experience coordinating an item shop or seasonal content schedule with real commercial impact.
