Description

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT categories across SaaS, cloud services, infrastructure, telecom, and IT professional services.
  • Negotiate complex enterprise IT agreements with major vendors to secure favorable renewal terms, discounts, true-ups, and payment optimization.
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle from intake through execution, renewal, and termination.
  • Establish and enforce SLAs, performance metrics, and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct vendor reviews, escalate performance issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze spend data and market intelligence to identify consolidation, cost savings, and TCO optimization opportunities.
  • Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate contract review, support RFP development, and improve sourcing decisions.
  • Lead workflow automation and continuous process improvement initiatives to reduce cycle time and scale procurement operations.
  • Partner with Finance, IT, Legal, and business teams to identify savings opportunities and report cash impact against budget targets.
  • Develop and socialize procurement policies, processes, and controls across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing, including 2+ years in IT and technology sourcing.
  • Experience with SaaS, cloud, hardware, telecom, and IT services categories.
  • Proven track record negotiating complex enterprise IT agreements and delivering quantified annual savings on multi-million-dollar portfolios.
  • Experience in category strategy, vendor governance, contract negotiation, and sourcing project management.
  • Advanced negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Working knowledge of IT commercial models, including SaaS licensing, cloud commitments, hardware lifecycle, and IT services rate cards.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT, plus procurement automation.
  • Strong data analysis, financial modeling, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to influence across Finance, Legal, IT, and executive teams.
  • Preferred experience in mid-sized or fast-growth companies with a focus on cost control and working capital efficiency.
