Description

  • Administer, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise routing and switching environments.
  • Support Cisco and Cisco Meraki infrastructure, including switching, wireless, and security appliances.
  • Configure and manage Palo Alto firewalls, including policies, NAT, VPNs, and security rules.
  • Own network issues end-to-end from investigation through resolution.
  • Respond to major network incidents on an as-needed basis.
  • Support production and business-critical systems with high uptime requirements.
  • Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain stable and secure network operations.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching.
  • Strong experience with Cisco Meraki.
  • Solid Palo Alto firewall administration experience.
  • Strong understanding of VLANs, routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF, VPNs, and network security best practices.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or production environments.
  • Comfortable being the engineer who actually fixes the issue rather than only escalating it.
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial network environments.
  • Preferred experience supporting plant or factory networks.
  • Preferred experience with high-availability and redundancy designs.
  • Preferred experience supporting mission-critical systems.
