Description

  • Support and deploy enterprise wireless networking solutions across Aruba, Cisco, Ubiquiti, and similar platforms.
  • Configure and troubleshoot access points, wireless controllers, and cloud-managed wireless systems.
  • Optimize wireless coverage, performance, and reliability, including RF-related troubleshooting.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, VLANs, and network segmentation.
  • Work with TCP/IP, OSPF, and BGP to support network stability and uptime.
  • Support ISP/WISP-style infrastructure, including PTP and PTMP wireless links.
  • Use CLI-based configuration and troubleshooting across network devices.
  • Diagnose connectivity issues, packet loss, performance bottlenecks, and outages.
  • Use monitoring and packet analysis tools to identify root causes and resolve incidents.
  • Collaborate with teams on network improvements and escalations.

Requirements

  • Experience in network engineering, network support, or infrastructure support.
  • Strong understanding of routing and switching, wireless networking, and TCP/IP fundamentals.
  • Comfort with CLI configurations, network troubleshooting, and infrastructure diagnostics.
  • Experience working with Aruba, Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, or similar networking platforms.
  • Aruba experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in ISP/WISP environments is a strong plus.
  • Experience with RF planning or wireless optimization is a nice to have.
  • Networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Aruba certifications, or MikroTik certifications are preferred.
  • Experience with monitoring systems, packet capture tools, or network uptime optimization is a plus.
  • Availability to work U.S. business hours (EST) in a full-time independent contractor role.
