Description

Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and product teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
Build, document, and maintain robust data pipelines using tools such as dbt, Dagster, Snowflake, Estuary, and Airbyte.
Develop deployment and release processes through software integration to support DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Design, build, and operate AWS-based data infrastructure with an emphasis on scale, performance, and cost efficiency.
Build frameworks and internal self-service tools that help the data team deliver value faster.
Support data modeling across global entities as the business and data footprint grows.
Partner with business stakeholders, engineers, and product managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Ensure data models and pipelines support key business performance understanding and reliable internal and external data consumption.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
5+ years of experience as a software engineer or data engineer in a fast-paced, technical, problem-solving environment.
Proficiency in cloud data warehouse best practices, optimization, and usage, especially Snowflake.
Expertise in ETL, data modeling, and version control; dbt and GitHub preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of the AWS data ecosystem.
Experience with data extraction tools such as Estuary and Airbyte.
Experience with programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.
Experience with business intelligence tools; Looker preferred.
Familiarity with data streaming technologies.
Demonstrated experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools.
Ability to work core aligned hours to US Eastern Time / GMT-5.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and shift gears quickly.
