Description

  • Build and maintain end-to-end native data pipelines between Snowflake and GCP.
  • Design and implement orchestration and automation for daily executions and deltas using Snowflake Tasks and Streams.
  • Develop config-driven processing logic, data transformations, and PII masking using stored procedures, UDFs, and Snowpark.
  • Implement native security policies using Storage Integrations, Google IAM roles, and GCS buckets.
  • Ensure pipeline observability and reliability through monitoring, automated alerts, error handling, and retry routines.
  • Manage and optimize modern data schemas using open standard storage formats such as Apache Iceberg.
  • Work closely with international teams and partners in a collaborative engineering environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of verifiable experience in Data Engineering roles working with cloud architectures.
  • Advanced experience with Snowflake and Snowpark, including Python for UDFs, stored procedures, and masking policies (required).
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake native orchestration, including Snowflake Tasks and Streams for delta loads and process automation (required).
  • Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Google Cloud Storage (GCS), Google IAM roles, and Snowflake Storage Integrations (required).
  • Experience working with modern open standard storage formats such as Apache Iceberg.
  • Experience implementing observability, alerting, and error-handling systems, including Snowflake Alerts and TASK_HISTORY.
  • Strong analytical skills, product-minded approach, autonomy, and ability to work with complex requirements in dynamic environments.
  • Official Snowflake certifications such as SnowPro Core or SnowPro Advanced Data Engineer, or GCP certification such as Professional Data Engineer (preferred).
  • Previous experience in migration or native multi-cloud integration projects (preferred).
