Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines for analytics and business intelligence.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reporting solutions, and production-ready datasets for self-service analytics.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, and warehouse structures to improve performance, scalability, and data quality.
  • Partner with Data Scientists, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to validate metrics and support analytical initiatives.
  • Monitor data pipeline health, troubleshoot production issues, implement alerting, and maintain service-level expectations.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data models, pipelines, and operational processes.
  • Support ad hoc data requests and continuously improve data architecture and reporting capabilities.
  • Participate in internal practice meetings, thought leadership, case studies, and networking activities.
  • Collaborate with leadership on career development and fast-track opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including Presto, Hive, or SparkSQL.
  • Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
  • Proficiency with Python or a comparable scripting language.
  • Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and production data architecture.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and data quality management skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering (preferred).
  • Experience with Apache Spark or Hadoop (preferred).
  • Experience building dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or similar BI tools (preferred).
  • Experience with logging, monitoring, and instrumentation frameworks (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Git or Mercurial (preferred).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment (preferred).
  • Previous experience at Meta or another large technology company (preferred).
  • Direct W2 candidates only; sponsorship is not available.
