Description

  • Lead and perform ITGC testing with emphasis on automation and expanded sample sizes.
  • Design, execute, and document SOX control testing procedures and prepare test evidence.
  • Develop, maintain, and run automated testing scripts to validate controls and analyze results.
  • Analyze large datasets and prepare testing artifacts using advanced Excel techniques (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros).
  • Identify potential control deficiencies and recommend effective remediation strategies.
  • Test identity and access controls and support identity governance using Saviynt and SailPoint.
  • Assess and test controls related to ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and cloud environments (Azure).
  • Track and manage testing activities, issues, and code/scripts using JIRA, GitHub, and ticketing systems.

Requirements

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SOX controls testing with a focus on ITGC and automation.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data analysis for large datasets.
  • Proficiency in scripting/automation languages such as Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript to create and execute test scripts.
  • Deep knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and ITGC frameworks.
  • Experience designing, executing, and documenting control testing procedures and preparing test evidence.
  • Experience with identity governance tools Saviynt and SailPoint.
  • Familiarity testing controls in ERP systems, specifically Oracle and SAP.
  • Understanding of Azure cloud services and how to test/manage controls in cloud environments.
  • Experience using JIRA and GitHub for project management and version control, and proficiency with ticketing systems to track issues and resolutions.
