Description

  • Conduct covert foot and mobile surveillance operations.
  • Deliver protective surveillance for client movements, residences, and planned activities.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute surveillance deployments in urban and rural environments.
  • Identify hostile reconnaissance, suspicious behaviour, and persons of concern.
  • Gather, record, and accurately report intelligence and operational observations.
  • Maintain constant situational awareness while operating discreetly and professionally.
  • Liaise with Close Protection Officers, Residential Security Teams, and other protective security personnel.
  • Use surveillance techniques to support threat assessments and operational planning.
  • Produce clear, concise, and accurate written reports following deployments.
  • Maintain surveillance equipment and ensure operational readiness.

Requirements

  • Extensive operational surveillance experience within the UK.
  • Proven experience conducting covert surveillance in dynamic and fast-moving environments.
  • Excellent observational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of hostile reconnaissance and behavioural detection.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working as part of a professional multidisciplinary security team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and decisive under pressure.
  • Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK and overseas at short notice.
  • Ability to maintain the highest levels of discretion and confidentiality.
  • SIA Close Protection Licence (desirable).
  • Former UK Police Surveillance Units experience (desirable).
  • UK Intelligence Community experience (desirable).
  • UK Special Forces or specialist military surveillance background (desirable).
  • Government surveillance or intelligence roles experience (desirable).
  • Experience supporting executive protection or protective surveillance operations (desirable).
  • Advanced surveillance qualifications or specialist surveillance training (desirable).
  • First Aid qualification (desirable).
