Description

  • Drive assigned routes in and around Houston and other city/state zones to collect street-level imagery using vehicles equipped with roof-mounted 360° cameras.
  • Operate and monitor onboard imaging and data-storage systems to ensure images are recorded and saved to the vehicle computer.
  • Follow project routing instructions that target commercial districts and historical sites and revisit locations as needed to obtain acceptable image quality (e.g., after poor weather).
  • Maintain safe driving practices and comply with traffic laws and company safety procedures while on duty.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and routine checks of vehicle and equipment, and ensure the vehicle is parked/stored as required.
  • Maintain accurate logs or reports of work completed, notify supervisors of issues or data-quality problems, and communicate effectively with the project team.
  • Adhere to the project schedule (typically Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week) and be available for the minimum project duration and any required overtime.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with driving experience (1–2 years minimum preferred).
  • Must have parking available for a vehicle.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Availability for a minimum commitment of 3 months and flexibility to work Monday–Friday (8 hours/day, may work more as needed).
  • Responsible, reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented work style.
  • Good driving skills and general car knowledge (basic vehicle maintenance awareness).
  • Tech savvy with a smartphone and basic apps, and basic computer skills for handling onboard systems.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow routing and project instructions.
  • Willingness to revisit locations to collect better-quality imaging when required.
