Description

  • Prepare, review, and issue invoices based on billable hours and client-specific arrangements.
  • Collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to validate billing details.
  • Track billing schedules and meet invoicing deadlines.
  • Review time entries, expenses, and billing data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Resolve billing questions and disputes with internal teams and clients.
  • Maintain organized billing records and documentation.
  • Support month-end processes by keeping billing data complete and current.
  • Identify recurring billing issues and recommend process improvements.
  • Coordinate with collections and accounts receivable to support payment handoffs.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance operations.
  • Experience with accounting or billing systems, including ERP or legal billing tools.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted billing tools for anomaly detection, invoice matching, or overdue-account monitoring.
  • Willingness to adopt AI-augmented workflows for data entry, payment follow-ups, and reconciliation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with hourly, fixed-fee, and retainer billing structures.
  • Clear communication and ability to resolve issues promptly.
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple invoices and deadlines.
  • Solid Excel skills and confidence working with data.
  • Ability to support US Eastern Time working hours.
