Description

  • Verify insurance benefits and patient coverage.
  • Process insurance pre-authorizations.
  • Prepare, submit, monitor, and follow up on medical claims.
  • Resolve rejected, denied, unpaid, and pending claims.
  • Manage accounts receivable and outstanding patient balances.
  • Review accounts for accuracy and identify billing discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate billing documentation and patient account information in ChiroTouch.
  • Provide light administrative support for billing and patient accounts.
  • Communicate professionally with the U.S.-based healthcare team.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on medical billing experience.
  • Previous experience working in a chiropractic practice.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience with ChiroTouch EMR.
  • Strong knowledge of medical billing, insurance claims, and claims resolution.
  • Experience with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and accounts receivable.
  • Experience with denied or rejected claims, insurance follow-up, and payment posting preferred.
  • Excellent English communication, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with reliable internet and a professional home-office setup.
  • Availability Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Pacific Time.
  • Experience with U.S. chiropractic practices, chiropractic billing terminology, Intermedia phone systems, or healthcare administration preferred.

Benefits

  • Full-time contractor position at 40 hours per week.
  • Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Pacific Time.
  • Compensation open to negotiation based on skills and experience.
