Description

  • Manage shared UK and Germany accounts payable inboxes, triage supplier invoices, and resolve finance queries.
  • Match inventory and freight invoices against purchase orders, rate cards, and Linnworks records.
  • Process and upload AP and sales invoices in Xero and DATEV while maintaining accurate, audit-compliant records.
  • Reconcile AP ledgers, bank payments, supplier statements, cashflow trackers, Xero, and P&L accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
  • Support month-end close and audits by validating invoice records, preparing approval reports, and maintaining cashflow accuracy.
  • Collaborate with merchants, suppliers, account managers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Provide required documentation for financial reporting and audits.

Requirements

  • Solid accounts payable or finance operations experience, preferably in e-commerce, logistics, or a multi-entity environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Xero.
  • Experience with DATEV or Dext is preferred.
  • Strong reconciliation skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfort working across UK and Germany entities with different compliance requirements.
  • Confidence using spreadsheets and maintaining cashflow trackers.
  • Clear, professional communication skills with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage a busy inbox and multiple workstreams independently.
  • Remote work-from-home setup with a 4th-generation-or-newer Intel i3 or equivalent processor, at least 4GB RAM, and Windows 10+ or macOS.
  • Own dual monitors, PC headset, HD webcam with at least 720p resolution, and stable wired internet of at least 10 Mbps.
