Description

  • Support collection efforts by resolving client payment issues and protecting organizational financial assets.
  • Follow up consistently on outstanding accounts to secure timely payments.
  • Meet assigned collection quotas and performance targets.
  • Review documents, filings, credit histories, and credit reports.
  • Collect and process information on existing and prospective customers.
  • Process credit applications.
  • Follow organizational policies and compliance requirements for credit and collection activities.
  • Collaborate with finance and other departments as needed while engaging with clients.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, credit, billing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet collection quotas and performance targets.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for handling payment concerns and difficult conversations professionally.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, accountable approach focused on resolving outstanding accounts.
  • Ability to follow credit, collections, compliance, and documentation procedures.
  • Availability for the full 3-month contract period.
  • Availability to work in the Eastern or Central Time Zone and provide personal work equipment, including a laptop and headset.
