Description

  • Design and deliver a professional development strategy for teachers, mentors, and principals.
  • Build teacher mentor capacity so they can support peer teachers effectively.
  • Strengthen Physics teachers’ content knowledge and instructional practice using Khan Academy and Khanmigo.
  • Support teachers in using AI and digital resources to explore pedagogical explanations and student misconceptions.
  • Monitor student practice and assessment data to identify learning gaps and target interventions.
  • Conduct 4-6 field visits per month to observe classroom practice, provide feedback, and address implementation challenges.
  • Facilitate feedback loops by reviewing teacher-created artefacts such as lesson plans and quizzes.
  • Track teacher engagement and learning progress using dashboard data to identify who needs additional support.
  • Document training sessions, attendance, and key observations for programme reporting.
  • Participate in programme review meetings and contribute subject-specific insights to cross-functional discussions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years working as a Physics teacher, ideally for Grades 11 and 12.
  • Strong academic mastery of Grade 11 and 12 Physics with the ability to translate knowledge into classroom teaching strategies.
  • Fluency in Telugu is mandatory.
  • Experience designing and delivering training programs for teachers or other education stakeholders is preferred.
  • Comfort with or curiosity about education technology and AI tools; prior experience with digital platforms for teaching or teacher training is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel across the state up to 50% of the time each month.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with comfort working in ambiguity, experimentation, and fast-paced environments.
  • A passion for education and a desire to make an impact.
