Description

  • Deliver virtual and in-person cybersecurity training, tabletop exercises, and Capture the Flag events for enterprise clients.
  • Design industry-specific threat scenarios, CTF challenges, and vulnerable lab or sandbox environments.
  • Facilitate incident-response decision workflows, technical walkthroughs, debriefs, and remediation discussions.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, MITRE ATT&CK techniques, and industry security standards.
  • Create engaging, inclusive, and professional learning environments for executive and technical audiences.
  • Monitor the Instructor Portal, manage class opportunities, and communicate promptly with Pluralsight project managers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in areas such as incident response, SOC/threat hunting, penetration testing, or security engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience delivering technical training, workshops, CTFs, or incident-response tabletop exercises.
  • Expertise in one or more areas including TTX design, CTF development, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST IR, OWASP, incident-response playbooks, or security tooling.
  • Experience with tools or technologies such as Python, Bash, Wireshark, Splunk, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Docker, CTFd, or cloud environments.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills for executive and technical audiences.
  • Ability to deliver training virtually and travel onsite as needed.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a professional home-office setup.
  • Legal authorization to work as an independent contractor.
  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, OSCP, CEH, GRID, or Security+ are preferred but not required.
