Description

  • Manage project scope, timelines, and delivery expectations across assigned work.
  • Create a team culture of shared responsibility and high-performing, self-organizing teamwork.
  • Coach the team on Scrum and broader agile practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work with the team to define and refine scope, estimates, and resource requirements.
  • Prepare and facilitate workshops and project meetings to establish needs, monitor progress, and resolve issues.
  • Remove impediments or help the team remove them to keep delivery on track.
  • Assess the time and financial impact of scope changes and communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Use data and metrics to support team and business decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Report project progress, team status, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

  • Scrum Master certification, equivalent qualification, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience applying Scrum and a broader understanding of agile principles.
  • Experience in an enterprise agency environment.
  • Strong servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, and continual improvement skills.
  • Experience with budget/time tracking tools and issue tracking software.
  • Ability to recommend appropriate project management tools for different project needs.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to work comfortably with technical terminology.
  • Broad understanding of web technologies including HTML/HTML5, CSS, CMS, JavaScript, and version control.
  • Availability to work as a freelancer in a fully remote environment.
  • Experience using a data-driven mindset to support delivery decisions.
