Description

  • Oversee end-to-end billing operations to ensure complete, accurate, and timely invoicing.
  • Perform complex reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and handle critical billing tasks as needed.
  • Establish and maintain billing controls, procedures, quality standards, and scalable SOPs.
  • Identify and prevent revenue leakage, unbilled services, pricing errors, and other billing discrepancies.
  • Reconcile operational systems, billing platforms, and accounting records, and support month-end revenue reporting.
  • Lead, coach, and manage the Billing team, including workload allocation, performance expectations, and KPI monitoring.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex billing issues and customer billing disputes.
  • Lead workflow improvements, billing automation, system enhancements, and integration projects.
  • Monitor billing performance, revenue trends, discrepancies, and operational KPIs for Finance management.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Accounting, and Collections to resolve issues and ensure accurate revenue capture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in billing, revenue operations, accounting, or related financial operations.
  • Experience supervising a team or leading billing operations.
  • Hands-on experience resolving complex billing issues and performing reconciliations.
  • Strong knowledge of billing processes, revenue controls, reconciliations, and financial operations.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
  • Experience with accounting, ERP, or billing platforms.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies across high volumes of transactions with strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills and ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
  • Experience with U.S.-based companies, remote teams, high-volume or subscription billing, QuickBooks Online or Zoho Books, automation, integrations, SOPs, controls, or operational KPIs (preferred).
