Description

  • Manage data engineering projects through the full development and delivery lifecycle.
  • Identify and support business initiatives from a data engineering perspective.
  • Design, build, test, and maintain scalable data management systems.
  • Develop, implement, automate, and maintain enterprise-scale ETL processes.
  • Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models, and proof-of-concepts.
  • Evaluate and maintain data solutions against business requirements and engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with data architects, data modelers, and IT teams to deliver project goals.
  • Participate in internal practice meetings, thought leadership, case studies, learning materials, networking events, and digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related technical field.
  • Strong experience with Python, data engineering, and ETL processes.
  • Experience supporting operational data work and workflows.
  • Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable data solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft SharePoint experience.
  • Experience with model evaluation and model measurement pipelines preferred.
  • Experience at Meta and certifications such as Six Sigma, CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, or CMMI preferred.
  • Must work remotely in the PST timezone; direct W2 candidates only, with no sponsorship available.
