Description

  • Develop and maintain data engineering platforms using AWS-native technologies.
  • Design and implement reusable Python modules for different countries and business settings.
  • Apply object-oriented programming principles to build maintainable, scalable data processing solutions.
  • Collaborate with agile development teams to deliver quality solutions on schedule.
  • Investigate root causes in data and suggestion-generation pipelines and implement robust fixes.
  • Debug workflows across AWS Step Functions, Glue, Athena, and Lambda.
  • Use modern Python engineering practices to improve code quality, testing, and deployment efficiency.

Requirements

  • Advanced Python programming expertise, including pandas, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and modern development practices.
  • Experience with AWS Glue for ETL, Amazon Athena for querying, DynamoDB for NoSQL storage, and AWS Step Functions and Lambda for workflow orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of AWS-based cloud architectures.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and project management tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with CI/CD, version control, and automated testing.
  • 5–10 years of data engineering experience with global or regional project exposure preferred.
