Description

  • Design and implement scalable data processing systems on Azure.
  • Build data pipelines that ingest data from databases, APIs, and streaming platforms.
  • Integrate, transform, clean, and format structured and unstructured data.
  • Design and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and distributed file systems.
  • Apply partitioning, compression, and storage and retrieval optimization techniques.
  • Identify bottlenecks, tune queries, and implement caching strategies to improve system performance.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Own solution delivery and ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Work within Agile methodologies and practices.

Requirements

  • Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and Databricks implementation.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience with Python and PySpark.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain information clearly to colleagues and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher; C1 preferred.
  • Familiarity with other cloud technologies, data warehouses, data governance, or business analysis is preferred.
