Description

  • Own the end-to-end execution of complex digital products across multiple accounts.
  • Provide architectural oversight by reviewing proposals, auditing decisions, and stepping into critical technical blockers when needed.
  • Define and enforce engineering standards, code quality practices, and delivery cadences.
  • Drive modernization toward cloud-native, microservices, and API-first architectures.
  • Make pragmatic technical trade-off decisions balancing debt, velocity, and scalability.
  • Own the Software Development Life Cycle, including planning, incident response, and retrospectives.
  • Manage capacity, velocity, and budgets across parallel workstreams.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate technical and delivery risks.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed engineering team of 8–15 engineers.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for CTOs and VPs of Engineering and align business goals with engineering priorities.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience building scalable systems.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead Manager.
  • Deep hands-on experience with at least one core stack: Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Ability to conduct deep-dive code reviews and stay technically close to the codebase.
  • Solid experience with cloud-native architecture, microservices, and API design.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders such as CTOs or VPs of Engineering.
  • Background in a consulting or digital transformation environment.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken, is mandatory.
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure is preferred.
  • Exposure to data platforms, AI/ML product delivery, or advanced DevSecOps practices is a plus.
  • Experience with large-scale enterprise digital transformation programs is a plus.
