Description

  • Own end-to-end execution of complex digital products across multiple client accounts.
  • Provide architectural oversight by reviewing, challenging, and adjusting technical proposals and decisions.
  • Jump into the codebase to help resolve critical blockers when needed.
  • Define and enforce engineering standards, code quality practices, and delivery cadences.
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native, microservices, and API-first architectures while preserving implementation rigor.
  • Make pragmatic trade-offs between technical debt, velocity, and scalability and defend those decisions to stakeholders.
  • Own the Software Development Life Cycle from planning through incident response and retrospectives.
  • Manage capacity, velocity, and budgets across parallel workstreams.
  • Identify, surface, and mitigate technical and delivery risks before they impact clients.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a distributed team of 8–15 engineers.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for CTOs and VPs of Engineering.
  • Translate business goals into engineering priorities and identify account growth opportunities through technical solutions.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of building scalable systems.
  • 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead Manager.
  • Hands-on expertise with at least one core stack: Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Ability to conduct deep-dive code reviews.
  • Solid experience with cloud-native, microservices, and API design.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders at the C-level or VP level in a consulting or digital transformation environment.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken, is mandatory.
  • Direct delivery experience with AWS and/or Azure is preferred.
  • Exposure to data platforms, AI/ML product delivery, or advanced DevSecOps practices is preferred.
  • Background in large-scale enterprise digital transformation programs is preferred.
