Description

Serve as Bodily’s on-site quality authority during production runs and identify garment quality issues on the factory floor.
Conduct or oversee post-production inspections in coordination with the third-party QC provider SGS as needed.
Produce clear, photo-documented quality reports and findings for the US-based team on a regular cadence.
Review tech packs and recommend improvements for quality, manufacturability, and production efficiency.
Identify root causes of recurring defects and lead corrective action recommendations.
Enter and maintain purchase order data accurately in production systems.
Coordinate communication between the US team and the factory on development, sampling, and production timelines.
Track open items and delays, and keep the US team informed on production status.
Represent Bodily’s quality and production standards directly to factory management with authority and confidence.

Requirements

10–15 years of hands-on experience in intimate apparel production and quality management, with bralettes, underwear, or related categories required.
Deep technical QC expertise in stitch types, stitch density, thread tension, elastic attachment methods, lingerie construction, and stretch/recovery behavior.
Experience in a senior role such as Quality Manager, Head of Quality, Production Manager, or equivalent within intimate apparel manufacturing.
Proven ability to engage directly and assertively with factory management on quality issues.
Experience with production coordination, sourcing, or production management is a strong plus.
Comfort working in production tracking systems and maintaining accurate records.
Based in Sri Lanka with reliable ability to be on-site at the manufacturing facility outside Colombo.
Available to overlap with US East Coast business hours for part of the workday.
Excellent written English for daily reports, email, and video communication with the US-based team.
Self-directed and proactive, with the ability to surface problems and drive solutions independently.

Monthly compensation commensurate with experience.
