Description

  • Develop and maintain ETL and ELT data pipelines for enterprise data workflows.
  • Work extensively with Snowflake data warehouse components in a SQL-heavy environment.
  • Build data processing pipelines in Python and support data transformation workflows with dbt.
  • Create BI visualizations in Amazon QuickSight for clinical and business stakeholders.
  • Use AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, and S3 to support data engineering solutions.
  • Perform data integrity checks and root cause analysis to troubleshoot pipeline and data issues.
  • Design or optimize data lake and data architecture solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and non-technical teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Support automation and deployment testing through CI/CD practices.
  • Contribute to secure data processing by applying data governance, security, and compliance practices.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in data engineering.
  • Strong experience with Snowflake data warehouse and its components; Snowflake is critically important.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including CTEs, window functions, and query tuning.
  • Experience with Amazon QuickSight for BI visualizations.
  • Proficiency in Python for pipelines and data processing.
  • Experience with ETL / ELT pipeline development.
  • Experience with dbt (data build tool).
  • Experience with AWS Glue, Lambda, and S3.
  • Experience with Rockset or similar analytical engines.
  • Experience designing or optimizing data lake solutions (preferred).
  • Understanding of data security, data governance, and compliance practices (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools for deployment and testing automation (preferred).
  • Knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark, Hive, or related AWS services (preferred).
  • Background in analytics or data science (preferred).
  • Experience collaborating with non-technical teams on business goals and technical solutions (preferred).
