Description

  • Negotiate, review, and structure strategic contracts focused on financial operations, BaaS, and payment methods.
  • Support regulatory matters related to the Central Bank, CVM, FIDC, and licensing processes.
  • Advise Product, Operations, Finance, People, and Commercial teams on day-to-day legal decisions.
  • Support privacy and data protection initiatives, including LGPD compliance.
  • Help build and improve internal processes, policies, and legal governance.
  • Work closely with executive leadership on high-impact company decisions.
  • Coordinate with external law firms on contentious and highly technical matters when needed.

Requirements

  • 6 to 9 years of experience in legal roles.
  • Active OAB registration.
  • Fluent English.
  • Strong experience negotiating corporate contracts, preferably involving financial products, BaaS, or payment methods.
  • Experience providing legal advisory support to different business areas.
  • Knowledge of regulations applicable to financial institutions, payment methods, or capital markets, including Banco Central and/or CVM.
  • Hands-on profile with autonomy, pragmatism, and strong communication skills with non-legal teams.
  • Preferred: experience in fintechs, banks, payment institutions, SCDs, asset managers, or securitization firms.
  • Preferred: experience with FIDC operations or structures.
  • Preferred: experience with authorization or supervision processes before the Central Bank.
  • Preferred: experience with LGPD and privacy programs.
  • Preferred: experience coordinating external law firms.
