Description

Mentor incubated and accelerated game teams throughout the program.
Provide marketing expertise and insights to participating teams and internal stakeholders as needed.
Organize and manage weekly meetings with teams and track their progress.
Take detailed notes and create reports on team progress for partners when requested.
Review and curate educational materials, and recommend updates to the Program Director.
Identify team needs and help solve problems or connect teams with additional support.
Coordinate and manage external experts for each cohort, including communication and documentation follow-up.
Manage own calendar, schedule, Jira tickets, and related documentation autonomously.
Attend in-person events when necessary or relevant.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in the video games industry as a Marketing Manager, Social Media Manager, or similar role.
Proven track record of working on launched game projects.
Deep understanding of the game business cycle, especially community building and marketing.
Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
Enjoys working closely with founders and teams.
Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and work proactively.
Experience in indie and/or AA game marketing is preferred.
Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
Experience organizing digital and in-person events is preferred.
Experience running or participating in accelerator/incubator programs such as Y Combinator, Techstars, or gaming-specific accelerators is preferred.
Experience with Jira, Salesforce, or other project management tools is preferred.
Network within the indie game development community is preferred.
Public speaking or workshop facilitation experience is preferred.
Timezone location between GMT-0 and GMT+8 is preferred.
