Description

  • Provide hands-on agile technical leadership for the development team.
  • Build and manage cloud-based applications using Go and AWS technologies.
  • Lead development teams in an agile context and keep work moving forward.
  • Decompose work and assign tasks to team members.
  • Remove blockers and help developers avoid dead ends.
  • Collaborate with clients and champion their vision through the delivery process.
  • Drive quality results while contributing to scalable and efficient application development.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience.
  • Proven track record as a technical leader with teamwide impact.
  • Experience leading development teams in an Agile context.
  • Experience decomposing and assigning work to team members.
  • Experience removing blockers and maintaining forward momentum.
  • Proficiency in GoLang and its frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EKS, MSK, EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Kafka and/or other messaging and queueing frameworks.
  • Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and with NoSQL databases.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
  • B2 (upper-intermediate) or higher English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working within an Agile team environment.
