Description

  • Design, develop, and evolve critical backend services.
  • Maintain and improve the technology stack for the client’s products.
  • Build and maintain APIs and integrate with third-party services.
  • Work on complex external integrations with institutions and service providers.
  • Ensure high standards of quality, performance, and observability across backend systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile, CI/CD-driven environment.
  • Make pragmatic technical decisions and trade-offs in real-world scenarios.
  • Contribute with ownership to scalable solutions for high-impact financial products.

Requirements

  • Advanced English level (B2 Upper or higher) is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development.
  • Advanced experience with Golang, preferably, and Python.
  • Strong foundation in software engineering principles, clean architecture, and design patterns.
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • Strong experience with relational databases and knowledge of NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB.
  • Ability to write efficient queries and understand indexing, performance, and production use of ORMs such as SQLAlchemy.
  • Experience working with AWS services, especially Lambda, S3, IAM, and EC2.
  • Practical knowledge of observability, including logging, metrics, alerts, and monitoring.
  • Experience working in collaborative teams with CI/CD and agile methodologies.
  • Analytical, decisive, and pragmatic mindset with the ability to handle trade-offs.
  • Must be based in Latin America, France, or Spain and available to work in CET/CEST (UTC+1/UTC+2) hours.
  • Desired experience with web scraping.
  • Desired experience in Open Banking or Open Finance.

Benefits

  • 100% remote work.
  • Full-time schedule of 8 hours per day.
  • Monthly compensation between USD 4,000 and USD 5,000.
  • 12-month contractor agreement through Workana.
  • Possibility of contract renewal based on good performance.
