Description

Translate and copy edit content across investigator-facing, patient-facing, pharmacy, marketing, help, and UI materials.
Work on translation, localization, and adaptation deliverables for multiple accounts and programs.
Review and ensure linguistic quality for content in the specified subject matter areas.
Apply subject-matter understanding to maintain accuracy and consistency in life sciences and marketing content.
Collaborate remotely as part of a freelance language expert team.
Use CAT tools and related platforms to manage translation workflows and project tasks.
Support quality assurance activities for translated content.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience translating or copy editing content in investigator-facing, patient-facing, pharmacy, marketing, help, and/or UI content.
Professional-level understanding of English (US/GB).
Native-level Swahili proficiency with a strong understanding of cultural nuances.
Experience using CAT tools such as XTM, Phrase, Trados, Jira, and Smartling.
Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including MS Word and MS Excel.
Translation degree preferred, or 3 years of translation experience if no degree, or 5 years of translation experience if no translation degree.
Ability to collaborate on multiple accounts and programs in a freelance remote environment.
