Description

  • Build and maintain relationships with borrowers, sponsors, lenders, and intermediaries to generate repeatable deal flow.
  • Own the full transaction lifecycle from initial client conversation through funded closing.
  • Advise clients on capital strategy and structure debt and equity capital stacks.
  • Prepare offering materials, run lender processes, negotiate term sheets, and coordinate all parties through closing.
  • Execute bridge, permanent, construction, mezzanine, and preferred equity mandates.
  • Monitor capital markets conditions, lender appetite, program criteria, and pricing across relevant lender types.
  • Use CRM, data, and workflow systems to manage high-volume deal execution and scalable processes.
  • Develop an institutional-grade book of business and repeatable origination infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of commercial real estate capital markets experience focused on debt placement or structured finance.
  • Deep experience with capital stack structuring, underwriting, lender sourcing, term sheet negotiation, and closing.
  • Ability to work independently across the full advisory cycle from origination through funded close.
  • Experience building a capital markets practice or book of business without an inherited pipeline preferred.
  • Familiarity with deal screening tools, CRM platforms, or automated workflow systems preferred.
  • Exposure to programmatic lending relationships or structured lender products preferred.

Benefits

  • Commission-based compensation with no base salary; fixed percentage of net revenue collected on funded deals.
  • Typical annualized earnings of $170,000–$250,000 based on recent role data, with higher potential for top performers.
