Description

  • Create and review consulting deliverables for M&A and investment analysis, including EBITDA normalization, valuation, acquisition financing, covenant analysis, sensitivity analysis, and investment recommendations.
  • Develop post-merger integration plans, including synergy realization, operating models, integration roadmaps, and financial impact assessments.
  • Produce corporate strategy, operational improvement, and business transformation recommendations supported by quantitative analysis.
  • Analyze conflicting information from due diligence reports, financial models, stakeholder inputs, market research, and business documentation.
  • Prepare client-ready presentations, strategic memos, financial models, and executive summaries with assumptions, risks, recommendations, and implementation considerations.
  • Evaluate consulting deliverables for analytical rigor, business judgment, clarity, and overall quality.
  • Provide structured feedback to improve the realism, consistency, and decision-making value of outputs.
  • Apply professional consulting methodologies to ensure recommendations are practical, data-driven, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead complex business analyses independently and develop defensible strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in management consulting, transaction advisory, corporate strategy, corporate development, or a related advisory role.
  • Experience at a leading consulting or advisory firm, or equivalent in-house corporate development experience.
  • Strong expertise in structured problem-solving, business analysis, and executive-level decision-making.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills, including valuation models, LBO analysis, three-statement models, pro forma financials, and scenario analysis.
  • Ability to independently lead complex business analyses and develop defensible strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing executive presentations, reports, and client-facing deliverables.
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear business insights.
  • Fully remote independent contractor arrangement.
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on business requirements and performance.
