Description

  • Develop and implement vertical video-first content strategies across YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram.
  • Produce and manage 10-15 posts per account each week for 1-2 accounts.
  • Source, identify, and clip relevant video content from news outlets, cultural events, and social media platforms.
  • Write platform-optimized captions and post copy that match each account’s distinct voice.
  • Leverage the company’s content database, including stories, videos, photos, CapCut templates, and trending sounds.
  • Monitor emerging platform trends and algorithm updates to refine the content approach.
  • Track performance metrics and audience engagement patterns.
  • Collaborate with fellow Social Media Managers and content leadership.
  • Contribute to cross-platform content initiatives and strategy discussions.
  • Participate in two 30-minute weekly check-ins about the project.

Requirements

  • Must be bilingual in Spanish and English, with fluency in both written and spoken communication.
  • Must be based in the United States.
  • Experienced Social Media Manager capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram.
  • Deep awareness of social media trends and platform algorithms.
  • Ability to produce compelling content quickly on topics such as news, humor, and culture.
  • Availability to dedicate 10-12 hours per week.
  • Ability to participate in two 30-minute weekly check-ins.
  • Open to contract work.
  • Experience creating content for Hispanic American and Spanish-speaking audiences is preferred.
