Description

  • Maintain and update customer records in Salesforce to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Create and manage new customer accounts and ensure proper categorization in line with internal standards.
  • Monitor and resolve data discrepancies, duplicates, and inconsistencies to keep the database reliable.
  • Manage and integrate data from third-party vendors and align it with internal systems and business requirements.
  • Monitor and enforce data governance policies for vendor data in accordance with company guidelines and industry best practices.
  • Document and enforce best practices, policies, and procedures for customer data management, including third-party firmographics data.
  • Train internal teams on data entry standards and proper Salesforce usage.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of automation for data entry, updates, and validation within Salesforce.
  • Work with IT and business teams to integrate third-party data sources and ensure seamless data flow and accessibility.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through AI, machine learning, and API integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data, IT, Business, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in data management, data quality, CRM administration, or a related field.
  • 0–1 years of experience in data operations, data entry/data management, CRM support/administration, or a related area, including internships, co-ops, or projects.
  • Experience in a data-focused role or academic/project work involving data quality, data cleansing, or CRM systems.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce; Salesforce Admin certification is a plus.
  • Experience with third-party data platforms and integration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and best practices.
  • Ability to design and implement automation workflows and data integrations.
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow, Zapier, MuleSoft, or other automation tools.
  • Background in data analysis and reporting, such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or industry-specific standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
