Description

  • Interpret conversations accurately between callers and English-speaking operators during live calls.
  • Convey messages clearly in the caller’s preferred language to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Handle calls across simple and complex topics, including technical and non-technical subjects.
  • Support interpreting needs in sectors such as healthcare, government, insurance, finance, utilities, travel and hospitality, 911 emergency services, law enforcement, and general business.
  • Work from a secure home office environment suitable for confidential interpreting.
  • Follow client-assigned rotating schedules and night shift coverage.
  • Maintain professionalism and accuracy in high-pressure live call situations.
  • Complete the required 3-week daytime training program before beginning live work.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English, including reading, speaking, and writing.
  • Fluent in the native language, including reading, speaking, and writing.
  • Must work from home.
  • Must have a mobile phone with Android 12 or above, or iOS 15 or above.
  • Must be willing to work rotating 9-hour shifts within a 24-hour schedule, including night shifts.
  • Must be willing to work on public holidays, as the operation runs 24/7.
  • Must be able to take 2 rotating days off per week.
  • Open to candidates in most locations within Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Cambodia.
  • 12-month contract with renewal potential.
  • 3 weeks of daytime training provided Monday to Friday, with a training allowance.

Benefits

  • RM30 per hour, with a minimum monthly pay of RM4,800 based on 160 hours.
  • Socso and EPF contributions.

  • Some Malaysia and US public holidays observed.
  • 3 weeks of paid daytime training with a training allowance.
