Description

  • Investigate merchant websites, applications, and commerce stacks to understand catalogs, variants, carts, and checkout flows.
  • Assess technical feasibility for sales opportunities and translate customer needs into technical recommendations.
  • Build, test, and improve integrations across ecommerce platforms and custom or headless environments.
  • Guide merchants from signed agreement through integration, launch, and ongoing technical performance.
  • Partner with customer engineers and internal Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
  • Support technical discovery, proposals, security reviews, and proofs of concept.
  • Improve product feeds, event tracking, cart actions, embeds, and integration reliability.
  • Publish and maintain Terrific apps in relevant commerce marketplaces.
  • Build scripts, automations, AI agents, documentation, and processes that make integrations more repeatable.
  • Turn recurring customer friction into Product and Engineering priorities and help define the integration roadmap.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of hands-on development or technical integration experience.
  • Production experience with at least two major ecommerce platforms; experience with Shopify, VTEX, Adobe Commerce/Magento, WooCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BigCommerce, Tiendanube/Nuvemshop, Wix, PrestaShop, or Shopware is relevant.
  • Experience with APIs, product feeds, webhooks, authentication, carts, checkout flows, and merchant technology.
  • Ability to read unfamiliar code, write functional scripts, and debug browser or network behavior.
  • Experience working directly with customers, merchants, or external technical teams.
  • Deep experience in ecommerce, marketing, or media, with working fluency across the other two areas.
  • Professional written and spoken English, plus professional fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese; French is valuable for EMEA accounts.
  • Clear communication, commercial judgment, and ability to work independently in a distributed international team.
  • Based in Latin America, preferably Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, or Colombia, or in a compatible EMEA time zone; available for a full-time independent-contractor engagement.
  • Experience with live shopping, social commerce, video commerce, marketplace apps, or large international retailers is preferred.
