Description

  • Answer incoming patient calls in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Schedule new patient and follow-up appointments.
  • Cancel and reschedule appointments as requested.
  • Contact patients who missed or canceled appointments and help them reschedule.
  • Transfer calls to the appropriate office staff when needed.
  • Accurately document patient interactions and appointment updates.
  • Maintain organized calendars and scheduling accuracy.
  • Provide excellent customer service while protecting patient confidentiality.
  • Assist with additional administrative tasks as the role expands.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, Virtual Medical Assistant, or Healthcare Customer Service Representative.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong phone etiquette and patient service skills.
  • Experience scheduling appointments in a medical setting.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace.
  • Experience using RingCentral or other multi-line phone systems (preferred).
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and Drive (preferred).
  • Experience working remotely (preferred).
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Benefits

  • Full-time contractor position (40 hours per week).
  • Negotiable pay rate depending on skillset and experience.
  • Monday through Friday schedule.
  • Work hours are 8 AM to 5 PM US time zones.
