Description

  • Manage customer enquiries primarily via email and resolve issues professionally and empathetically.
  • Assist customers with order enquiries, returns, exchanges, and delivery queries.
  • Oversee incoming customer orders and support the fulfilment process.
  • Coordinate with warehouse partners to ensure accurate and timely dispatch.
  • Monitor stock availability and communicate inventory issues proactively.
  • Support operational administration and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Perform daily administration within Shopify.
  • Update product listings, inventory, order information, and customer records.
  • Troubleshoot basic Shopify-related issues.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative and operational support to the founders.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service, operations, eCommerce administration, or a similar role.
  • Experience managing customer communications via email.
  • Experience coordinating customer orders and inventory.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • High level of computer literacy and confidence using multiple online systems.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • A proactive mindset, adaptability, and willingness to take ownership in a fast-moving startup environment.
  • Previous Shopify experience (desirable).
  • Experience working with warehouse or logistics partners (desirable).
  • Experience within an eCommerce or retail business (desirable).
  • Startup experience (desirable).
  • Experience improving operational processes (desirable).
  • Reliable laptop or desktop computer.
  • Stable, high-speed internet connection.
  • Dedicated home working environment suitable for professional communication.
  • Morning availability is essential to meet warehouse dispatch cut-off times.
  • Part-time availability of approximately 3–4 hours per day.
  • Some flexibility may be required depending on business needs.
