Description

  • Provide Tier 3 operations-level troubleshooting for complex LAN/WAN environments.
  • Manage, configure, and maintain multi-vendor network environments with a primary focus on Cisco and Aruba architectures.
  • Ensure high availability and optimal performance of critical network pathways.
  • Lead interpretation and implementation of STIGs to harden network assets.
  • Use Nessus and Tenable to identify risks and perform Patch Vulnerability Adjudication (PVG).
  • Manage PO&AM documentation and support Security Control Assessor (SCA) requirements.
  • Modernize workflows using Ansible and SolarWinds.
  • Support AWS cloud-integrated networking using Terraform for infrastructure-as-code deployments.
  • Present technical findings and remediation plans to senior stakeholders and leadership.
  • Research emerging threats and propose architectural changes as needed.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in Cisco and Aruba networking.
  • Experience troubleshooting LAN/WAN environments in high-stakes or complex environments.
  • Mastery of Nessus, Tenable, and the STIG hardening process.
  • Experience with government-sector workflows including PO&AM, SCA audits, and PVG.
  • Proficiency with Ansible, Terraform (AWS), and SolarWinds.
  • Comfort with public board presentations and high-pressure technical briefings.
  • Ability to translate technical issues into business or security solutions for non-technical leadership.
  • Self-starter mindset with strong research and solutioning ability.
  • Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain public trust.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, Aruba Certified Design Professional (ACDP), CISSP, or CEH (preferred).
  • Proven history of briefing senior government or corporate leadership on security posture (preferred).
