Description

  • Research potential donors and identify likely funding sources for the foundation.
  • Build, manage, and grow a pipeline of donor and CSR relationships.
  • Support grant proposals and applications when needed.
  • Research CSR funds, government skilling schemes, HNI donors, and other prospects with support from market researchers.
  • Log prospect information in the fundraising tracker, with one row per prospect.
  • Share updated tracker information with the team every week and follow up on prospects.
  • Flag potential partnership opportunities for coordination with the team lead.

Requirements

  • This is a volunteer position with no pay, salary, or stipend.
  • Ability to commit 3-4 hours per week.
  • Understanding of how CSR or grant funding works in India, or willingness to learn.
  • Thoroughness and comfort with deep research and due diligence.
  • Ability to contribute consistent output every week.
  • Relevant skills or interest in grant writing, fundraising, strategic outreach, stakeholder management, relationship building, pipeline management, business development, or the CSR/NGO landscape.
  • Must be able to start volunteering immediately.
  • Motivation to support social initiatives and improve outcomes for under-privileged students.
