Description

  • Define payroll business processes and scenarios and participate in team training and prototyping sessions.
  • Analyze system issues, troubleshoot problems, and identify root causes and solutions.
  • Support payroll processing and help resolve issues during payroll runs.
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities and related processes.
  • Review existing documentation and configuration to understand the current payroll setup.
  • Evaluate new Oracle functionality and recommend whether it should be adopted.
  • Participate in design sessions for system enhancements.
  • Define test scenarios, develop UAT scripts, coordinate testing, and record results.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end users.
  • Support production cutover activities, including go-live readiness review and contingency planning.
  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for the Payroll module.
  • Create, maintain, and update documentation, policies, procedures, and training guides.
  • Engage outlying departments and divisions on current and proposed process changes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience implementing and/or supporting Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Payroll Definition and Setup, Elements and Earnings/Deductions, Fast Formulas, Payroll Run Processing, Balances, US Tax Withholding and Compliance, Deductions, Costing, Payments and Disbursements, Payroll Relationship and Assignment Model, Time and Labor Integration, Absence Integration, Year-End and Regulatory Reporting, and Audit and Reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be 100% dedicated to this project during the employment period.
  • Oracle Payroll Cloud Implementation Professional certification preferred.
  • Remote work must be performed during regular Eastern Time business hours from a location inside the US.
