Description

  • Refine ambiguous requests into small, iterative deliverables and achievable sprint goals.
  • Organize sprints to deliver work on time and with high quality.
  • Ship full-stack features with measurable product impact.
  • Provide substantive code reviews and architectural feedback.
  • Serve as a first responder for production issues during working hours, including triage and root-cause analysis.
  • Recommend preventive measures for production issues.
  • Improve engineering practices through tooling, agentic workflows, technical standards, and documentation.
  • Translate product requirements into a technical approach and explain the reasoning.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Product Design.
  • Raise risks, design drift, and brittle patterns early and help drive unowned problems when priorities shift.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in website development using PHP and MySQL.
  • Experience building complex web applications that integrate with services and APIs.
  • Advanced knowledge of custom WordPress development, including data modeling and infrastructure.
  • Advanced knowledge of semantic HTML, responsive CSS, and modern design patterns.
  • Professional-level English communication skills for technical concepts and processes.
  • Experience with Laravel is a plus.
  • Experience with AWS is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of developer tooling and unit test writing.
  • Experience incorporating and working with REST APIs.
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of relational databases.

  • Base compensation range of $58,000–$62,000 USD.
