Description

  • Remotely monitor patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices using Rhythm’s proprietary software.
  • Evaluate the technical function of CIEDs through remote reviews of device and patient diagnostics.
  • Use knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, and cardiac device function to perform diagnostic assessments and overall analysis.
  • Recognize abnormal pacemaker, defibrillator, ILR, and CRT device behavior and recommend corrective strategies.
  • Communicate findings to Rhythm’s clinical team and providers through accurate, professional, standardized documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and PHI requirements.
  • Support Rhythm’s patient-centered care philosophy in day-to-day work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or associate degree, or equivalent experience in nursing, medicine, electronics, or engineering.
  • Successful completion of a cardiac device rhythm management course or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of recent implanted cardiac device management experience with knowledge of all manufacturer programmers.
  • 3+ years of cardiology experience; cardiac electrophysiology experience preferred.
  • Experience interrogating and interpreting device diagnostics for Medtronic, Abbott/St. Jude, Boston Scientific, and Biotronik devices.
  • Cardiac rhythm management industry training and experience preferred.
  • At least one industry certification required, such as CRAT, CCT, RCES, or IBHRE certification (CCDS, CEPS, CDRMS preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and other collaboration applications.
  • Own computer with sound/voice functionality, stable high-speed WiFi, at least 8GB RAM, a minimum 2GHz processor, and the latest Windows or macOS.

  • Contracted 1099 position with no end date.
  • Fully remote work arrangement.
  • Flexible scheduling within business hours (7a–9p ET, Monday–Saturday).
  • Minimum commitment of 8 hours per week, averaged across the month.
  • Schedule set at least 8 weeks in advance.
