Description

Build bots for messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack, and similar platforms.
Design and implement conversational flows, dialogue state, and fallback handling.
Integrate bots with LLMs for natural language responses where appropriate.
Connect bots to backend services, databases, CRMs, and third-party APIs.
Handle webhooks, rate limits, and platform-specific message formats.
Review, debug, optimize, and refactor bot implementations to improve reliability and maintainability.
Implement logging, monitoring, and recovery to keep bots healthy in production.

Requirements

At least 3 years of relevant experience in backend, integration, automation, or bot development.
At least 1 year of hands-on experience building bots for a major messaging platform.
Strong command of Python or Node.js for backend bot logic.
Solid experience with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and async request handling.
Experience with relational or NoSQL databases for conversation state and user data.
Familiarity with LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic and prompt design is a strong plus.
Understanding of platform-specific limits, message templates, and approval flows.
Experience with hosting and deployment tools such as Docker, serverless, VPS, or PaaS.
Portfolio or examples of bots built, required.
English proficiency at upper-intermediate (B2) level or above, required.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related technical field is a plus.
